Below is the Rogersville MO Real Estate Market Report for August 2010.  The real estate market in Rogersville is continuing to struggle.  This community offers some of the best homes in our area, easy access and commute to Springfield, yet is often overlooked by potential buyers.  Many of the homes in this community have acreage.  This is a wonderful opportunity for a buyer looking for a newer home on acreage at this time.

Below is the Republic MO Real Estate Market Report for August 2010.  It's good to see that the market is finally beginning to pick up in this community.  While the inventory of active listings increased, the number of homes going under contract and sold during the month of August more than doubled.  However, homes sales above $200,000 remain stagnant.

Below is the Nixa MO Real Estate Market Report for August 2010. This is the brightest report from Nixa in several months.  There is good news overall!  The number of homes active on the market increased; however, the number of pending home sales and the number of homes sold literally doubled.  This community is showing signs of a rebound.  Let's hope it's not temporary.

Below is the Ozark MO Real Estate Market Report for August 2010.  This month's report is a little more encouraging in that the number of pending sales increased from last month's report, while the number of active listings decreased slightly.  Still...sales are down overall in comparison with the previous years.

• Total Sold Listings for August: 25 sales

Below is the Springfield MO Real Estate Market Report for August 2010.  What is significant about this month's report has that the inventory is increased slightly, but so has the number of homes going under contract and sold.  Springfield is faring much better than the outlying communities.  This may be a sign that people are wanting to move closer to their employment in an effort to save on monthly expenses such as gas.  However, sales in Springfield are down overall in comparison with the past couple of years.

Below is the Republic MO Real Estate Market Report for July 2010.  I am late in getting this report out, but wanted to go ahead and post it to have some continuity with August's report. Like the other smaller communities surrounding Springfield, Republic sales dropped by over half for the month of July.  However, the number of homes going under contract is up from the month of May when only 3 homes actually went under contract.

Below is the Nixa MO Real Estate Market Report for July 2010. I'm a little late (okay, very late) with July's report, but needed to go ahead and post it in order to have an accurate tracking to compare with August's report.  The market in Nixa was down considerably during the month of July.  Only 12 homes went under contract in all price ranges collectively compared to 30 homes in June.
