I recently had the privilege of touring the 2010 St. Jude's Dream Home with the builder, Jeff Fahrlander. Jeff was an excellent tour guide and allowed me to take photographs to share with everyone. I show a hundred homes a month, but this home was very special to tour knowing that so many people came together and donated their time and materials to such a worthy and noble cause. Jeff has been building luxury homes since 2003 and has amassed an amazing group of talented and skilled craftsmen over the years who selflessly pulled together to showcase their best work in one incredible home. If you're looking for a custom home builder in the Springfield, MO, area, I highly recommend Fahrlander Custom Homes!

Tonight, I received the following email from my seller:
I was cooking steaks on the grill tonight. I went out to check them and this guy was staring at me when I opened the door then ran off. I told the family about him and they came out to look and he happened to be coming back up the stairs. I grabbed the camera and when I got back he was sitting out in the grass posing for us. He stayed around for a while so we shared some leftover Thanksgiving turkey with him. See the attached photos of our guest and new friend. He's an amazing guy!!!!
This is highly unusual considering red fox are very shy of humans. This one obviously is a fan of my seller's cooking. About a month ago I received a call from another agent telling me that there was trash strung out across the seller's lawn. I thought this was unusual considering my seller doesn't have any pets. I'll bet I know who the culprit is now.
On September 14, 2009, the Nixa Board of Alderman passed a law that requires drivers and passengers to wear their seatbelts while driving through Nixa. While it's only common sense that one should wear their seatbelt, what is significant about this ordinance is that it gives the Nixa Police Department the right to pull you over if they suspect you are not complying. It also give them the right to issue a citation based solely on seatbelt usage....REGARDLESS OF AGE.
Only one council member cast a dissenting vote, Kevin Elmer. His reasoning was that a seatbelt violation should not constitute the right to inspect or detain.
Statistics were used as arguments for the ordinance. According to a representative from St. John's Hospital, only 62% of Nixa residents treated at the hospital following an automobile accident reported wearing their seatbelt. In the 15-19 age group, only 17% reported wearing a seatbelt. The average cost of treatment for someone wearing their seatbelt was $9,000, compared to the patient who did NOT wear their seatbelt, which averaged $40,000.
So....save lives....save money...and save an officer's time! Buckle up!
