Thanks for the info! Good link. Wish we had something like that here...
I think it is good that we have sites where people can check out the statistics on criime. We often suggest that people moving to our area do just that. It is helpful.

David - I've just recently found this myself. It's a wonderful tool!
Allen - Our opinion can be very subjective depending on what information our buyers are asking for. Sites like this can be such a help.
Lina - Your post is a great example of how the Internet has become a great tool for checking out a neighborhood before purchasing. Not only can you get crime statistics--a very important element--you can even see how prone the area is to tornado activity, earthquakes, and other factors.
John - I find more and more resources every day!
I would never do a crime map here, it would scare all the buyers away. We did drop to the 6th most dangerous cities. The more public housing and Section 8 then you have more crime in the area. The people have more time on their hands.
Love your new header, Bet you can do one for the holidays too. Looks great!
Eric - I was actually surprised to see how much crime we had here. We think our crime rate is extremely low, but when you look at the number of reports, it's higher than I expected.
Thanks for the comment on my blog header. I got the idea from you :) One of these days I might just have to buckle and actually pay for Picnik. LOL
Lina - This is an awesome tool for buyer's and even home owners.
